Bio
Alicia joined our team in July of 2007 after moving to North Carolina with her family from New York City. During her 7+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, she worked in several pediatric therapy settings including home and community-based therapy, early intervention, preschool, and a school for children with multiple special needs. She has worked with a variety of disorders and has significant experience with sensory processing dysfunction.Additional information
Our desire is to improve the quality of life and potential for success of each child, as well as, to provide family support and education to parents of children with special needs. We desire to see our patients reach their goals, and to teach families how to create therapeutic opportunities for their children on a daily basis within the child’s routine and most natural environment. We believe in providing treatment where the child spends most of his/her time where skills learned will be the most applicable and will be generalized outside of the therapeutic session. We provide services in homes, daycares, and our office.
