Interactive play skills are crucial for the development of children. When children engage in play with other children, they are presented with numerous learning opportunities across a variety of domains. During play, children learn a variety of social skills, communication skills, cognitive skills, and positive behaviors. Thus, for children who have difficulty playing with others, it is very important to provide the supports needed to enable them to learn how to interact positively with other children so that they do not miss out on these valuable learning opportunities. This course was designed to provide caregivers with explicit guidelines to increase interactive play. It is a completely online course and designed to be completed in under a half hour.
