Course Description

Engaging in daily living skills is often difficult for children with learning challenges, such as brushing teeth, bathing, getting dressed, and preparing simple meals. This course was to designed to provide caregivers with explicit guidelines to increase the child’s independence during such activities.   It is fact that when children learn to independently perform daily living skills, they increase their self-esteem, motor skills, and cognitive skills. Subsequently, caregivers are likely to see improvements in positive behavior, socialization, and communication as children become more independent across a variety of daily routines and activities. This course is a completely online course and designed to be completed by caregivers in under a half hour. You may log into your account and review the course materials as many times as you would like and you may take the online test at anytime.
